Capalbio is an amazing medieval village and it is known worldwide for its golden sand beaches. 12 kilometers of seashore between Ansedonia and the borders with the Lazio region. Here you can find the Capalbio beaches awarded ‘5 Sails’ by Legambiente once again in 2026.
Beaches at Terra di Sacra stretch for about 10 kilometers from the Macchiatonda beach to La Dogana. Both Macchiatonda and La Dogana can be reached by car. Dark sand, crystal-clear waters, untouched and wild beach.

Guests staying in our Villas & Cottages enjoy access to the Estate’s pristine beaches—long, wild stretches of coastline that remain peaceful and uncrowded. Sun loungers are available for guests wishing to relax and enjoy the Tuscan sun in complete tranquillity. The Villas offer direct access to the beach and include a dedicated golf cart for added convenience. From the Cottages and Small Cottages, the sea can be reached by walking along the Estate’s scenic country lanes and tree-lined paths, immersed in the scents of the Mediterranean landscape.
Resort & Glamping
The sea is also just a short walk from the Resort & Glamping. The free public beach adjacent to the property offers an unspoiled stretch of coastline to enjoy at your own pace. As this is a natural, unserviced beach, sun umbrellas, loungers, and deck chairs are not provided, so we recommend bringing your own if you would like extra comfort. For guests who prefer the services of a fully equipped beach club, sunbeds and umbrellas can be reserved at La Dogana Beach Club, our partner beach club, where special rates are available exclusively for Resort guests. During the high season, advance booking is highly recommended. Please note that the beach club operates according to a seasonal opening schedule.
